At age 6, Carma wrote a poetic masterpiece entitled “Spring,” and after that she couldn’t be stopped. She often writes lyrical poems with nature images. Her short fiction is mostly speculative—fantasy and science fiction—with an emphasis on families.

Much of her time is spent hunched over a computer keyboard for the inevitable day job as well as for creative writing, with breaks for photography and ballet class. She wants to thank her writing group for their advice and support.
