We had such a great time doing Moods + Foods last year, we are doing it again this summer!
Take a moment out of your day to enjoy performers who set the mood by transforming Woodard Plaza into a gathering spot. The community is invited to visit local eateries and bring food to enjoy while they hang out at the plaza. 2819 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, where Milwaukee Ave, Diversey Ave, and Kedzie Ave come together
Thursday evenings, 6 to 7:30pm
July 12 Rent Party (garage folk music)
July 19 Marianne and the Imaginary Band (eclectic mix of folk and pop originals and covers, gypsy jazz, and klezmer)
July 26 Stann Champion / Hassan El-Tayyab (acoustic Americana, Caribbean & Africana / acoustic folk music)
August 2 Youth night (performances by talented local youth, including Hugo Colin paying tribute to Elvis)
August 9 Carrie Patterson, Trifecta Dance Collective
August 16 La Pompe Chicago (gypsy jazz)
August 23 Literary night (readings) with Cynthia Gallaher, Carlos Cumpian, Celeste Pillows, and others
August 30 Winnemac 3 (New Orleans-style jazz)
