Moods + Foods is the Northwest Arts Connection’s outdoor performing arts series. M+F focuses on the performing arts, including music, theater, dance, literary performance, and others. Our goal is to transform an underutilized city plaza into a community gathering spot for people on their way home from work.
The arts engage passersby with a performance and set the mood, giving community members the opportunity to take a moment out of their evening and enjoy local talent. Viewers might bring food from home or a local eatery or go out after the performance. Our 2022 season will run on Thursdays, 6-8pm, from July 7 through August 25 at Solidarity Triangle (formerly known as Woodard Plaza), at the intersection of Logan Square and Avondale neighborhoods—2819 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago—where Milwaukee Ave, Diversey Ave, and Kimball Ave come together.
