Urban Imaging’s office and production spaces have an open design that is spacious and clean, but the lighting and board walls make it feel welcoming, not sterile. You can see the ambience—and their customer focus—in the above photo.
Urban Imaging started in 2008, rooted in both printing and design with an emphasis on customer service. Rapid growth has led to a doubling of their wide format and digital print production services as they keep expanding their skill set to meet growing client needs.
Founder and owner Rick Chavez says, “I am a lover of all things creative—the more unique and custom a project, the better! I am driven by the task of creating an awesome product and bringing joy and success to my clients and their businesses. I have a true appreciation for other business owners and their craft. Experiencing their passion makes me want to work hard for them and grow our businesses together.”
His advice to others considering a business start-up is to follow your heart and do what you love.
Rick is an east coast native translocated to Chicago. He views Chicago as a “world class city.”
